The road to Red Bull Wololo: Londinium is steadily taking shape, as reflected in the latest qualifier results. According to recent analysis published by Esports Charts, the event has become one of the most successful qualifiers in Age of Empires II history second only to the most recent Hidden Cup qualifier from several years ago.

The qualifier peaked at over 40,000 concurrent viewers during the highly anticipated matchup between TheViper and Sebastian, highlighting strong community engagement. In total, the broadcast accumulated approximately 520,000 hours watched across roughly 25 hours of airtime.

For comparison, the most recent major event, Warlords IV, featured a significantly longer broadcast duration of 92 hours and generated 1.8 million hours watched. Despite this, its peak viewership reached 38,000, slightly below that of the Wololo qualifier. These figures should be interpreted with caution, as total watch time and sustained viewership generally provide a more comprehensive indicator of an event’s overall success than peak numbers alone.

However, these metrics suggest a steadily growing community. With the Red Bull Wololo series absent from last year’s tournament cycle, expectations are high for a major resurgence and a standout event this year.

The Red Bull Wololo: Londinium main event will be played out in the Royal Albert Hall in London on the 6th April.
